WHO ARE YOU?

CTO / Tech Lead

You run a team. Infra, CI/CD, cloud costs, platform engineering.

LET'S MAKE
YOUR INFRA
BORING AGAIN.

I'm Morgan. Dad, coffee lover, metal fan. I help tech teams untangle their infra, automate what's painful, and get back to shipping things that matter. One focused mission at a time.

Most infra problems I've seen aren't rocket science. They're things that quietly accumulated and nobody had the time to address.

  • I take the time to understand before I touch anything.
  • I find what's actually expensive and what can be simplified.
  • I automate what slows you down, including with AI where it makes sense.

A LITTLE
ABOUT ME.

Morgan Wattiez

I'm Morgan Wattiez, aka SansGuidon online. Belgian, based in La Bruyere (Namur), co-owner of Zoemp SRL. I've been doing DevOps since before it had a name, through banks, scale-ups and greenfield projects.

I tend to delete more than I write. I self-host most of what I use, I like simple things that work, and I get genuinely curious about the problems I'm handed. I'm not in a hurry to sell you a solution before I understand your situation.

WHAT I
CAN HELP
WITH.

01 CI/CD that doesn't hurt
When deploys are stressful, people avoid them. I've seen this pattern a lot. I work through your pipeline with you, understand what's fragile, and help rebuild it into something the whole team can trust.
GitHub Actions · GitLab CI · ArgoCD · Gitea
02 Automation & AI 🤖
The stuff your team does manually every week is a great place to start. Reporting, provisioning, incident handling, toil. I also integrate AI where it makes sense: report generation, alert triage, internal assistants.
Claude API · Python · Bash · Grafana · Datadog · OpenTelemetry
03 Platform & Developer Experience 🏗️
At Ibanity I built Atlas, a release tool that brought onboarding from days to under an hour. The goal wasn't the tool itself. It was giving developers their time back. That's what platform work is really about.
IDP · Developer Experience · Self-service Infra · DORA Metrics
04 Infrastructure as Code 🧱
If your infrastructure lives only in someone's head, or in the console, that's a risk. I help teams move to Terraform, Kubernetes, Helm in a way that's readable, documented, and that you can actually maintain after I'm gone.
Terraform · Kubernetes · Helm · AWS · GCP · EKS · Cloud Run
05 FinOps & Cloud Costs 💸
Cloud bills are rarely a mystery once you sit down with them. I audit your spend, find what's idle or oversized, and help put visibility in place so you stop being surprised. Usually saves 30 to 50% in the first pass.

HOW I
WORK.

1

A first conversation (30 min, free)

You tell me what's going on. I listen, ask questions, and try to understand the context before jumping to conclusions. Open conversation, nothing to sell.

2

A clear proposal within 48h

What I'll look at, what I'll do, how long it'll take, what it costs. Fixed price or daily rate. I try to keep things simple and readable.

3

Focused work, with your team

I work alongside you, not around you. Weekly sync, async by default. I document as I go so you can understand and own everything after.

4

Handover, or we keep going

When the mission is done, I make sure the handover is clean. If there's more to do, we scope the next one. The choice is yours.

SOME
QUESTIONS.

What does "fractional" mean in practice?
It means I work with a small number of clients at the same time, on focused missions. You get a senior DevOps engineer when you need one, without a full-time hire. It works well for teams that have a real problem to solve but aren't ready for a permanent role.
Who do you usually work with?
Mostly startups and scale-ups in Belgium or remote in Europe. Teams where the CTO is also doing ops on weekends, or where infra has grown faster than the processes around it.
What does it cost?
Daily rate around 700-900 EUR (Belgian market for senior freelance DevOps), or fixed price for well-scoped missions. I'm happy to talk through what makes sense for your situation.
Why not a big consultancy?
With a big firm, the senior person you met in the sales meeting often isn't the one doing the work. With me, you get me. I have 15 years of experience, I have opinions, and I'll tell you honestly when something seems like a bad idea.
Where are you based?
La Bruyere, Namur, Belgium. Remote-first. Happy to come on-site occasionally for Belgian clients. I work in French and English.

If something resonated here, I'd love to hear about your situation. A 30-minute call costs nothing and I'll spend it listening.

YOUR TECH,
FINALLY
SIMPLE.

I'm Morgan. I help small businesses and freelancers get a clean website, ditch the tools they don't need, and automate the repetitive stuff — including with AI when it helps. So you can focus on your actual job.

Most small businesses pay for tools they barely use and spend hours on tasks a computer could handle. I fix that.

  • A website that works, loads fast, and doesn't need a developer to update.
  • Repetitive tasks automated — with AI where it actually helps.
  • Your subscriptions and tools reviewed, simplified, cheaper.

A LITTLE
ABOUT ME.

Morgan Wattiez

I'm Morgan Wattiez. Belgian, based near Namur, co-owner of Zoemp SRL. I've spent 15 years building tech infrastructure for banks and startups. Now I also help smaller structures get the same quality of tooling — without the complexity or the price tag.

I like simple things that work. I explain what I do in plain language. And I build things so you can own and maintain them yourself after I'm done.
